WHO WE ARE
The DHK Group was founded to provide expert executive-level consulting and advisory services to non-profits with both local and global footprints. For more than 40 years, Donald Kandel, Principal, has led non-profit executive teams, implemented proven management strategy, and overseen efforts to fundraise more than $200M and achieve more than $275M in grants and contracts across his career. In 2023 we have expanded our services to for-profit start-ups as well.
As a mission-driven strategic services team, the DHK Group leverages more than 100 years of experience in non-profit financial 501(c)3 status and state registrations, management, accounting services, organizational operations, Human Resources, information systems, and executive management.
In addition to our nonprofit expertise, Donald Kandel has worked with numerous for-profit start-ups from inception through growth. Since 1983, handling initial filing of IRS and State incorporation paperwork to the development of systems and controls, and beyond. He has guided several of these to annual sales growth of well over $1 million.
